MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The White House says President Barack Obama has been briefed on the outbreak of violence in a predominantly black neighborhood in Milwaukee after a fatal, officer-involved shooting. Spokeswoman Jen Friedman says Obama was updated Sunday by senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.
